Free Printable Barnyard Animal Sound Flags

Can you believe that the first day of fall was on Saturday?  Even though the weather didn’t feel like it around here, I can’t wait to get the pumpkins carved, scarecrows built and other fun fall decorating that is around the corner.  Before I get started on some fall ideas, I wanted to finish showing you some of the details from Little Bug’s Barnyard Birthday Bash last week.

One of my favorite design elements was the farm animal sound party flags.  Little Bug loves her cows, pigs and sheep, but she also loves the sounds they make.  Although she isn’t mooing or oinking on her own yet, she is able to point to the animal when we make the sound.  I wanted to design a set of flags that were also a learning tool for the party.  I used the birthday animal graphics on one side and matched their animal sound on the other.

Party flags are great to use throughout a celebration.  Traditionally they’re added to straw flags, but you can also put them on treat sticks, hors d’ouevre picks, tooth picks, and many more party accessories.  Try using this set at a play date, party or other children’s gathering.  You’re sure to end up with a whole barnyard of oinking and mooing kiddos!
