Christmas Trivia Game Ideas
There are lots of fun Christmas Trivia Games that you can create for your holiday party. One option is to use a pre-created Christmas trivia game such as this True/False Christmas Party Game.
But you can also create your own Christmas Trivia Challenge based on your party guests’ interests. Here are a few ideas.
Christmas Trivia Bingo
Create Bingo cards with Christmas Trivia answers instead of numbers. As you read the questions, guests mark the box with the answer. The first to get a row wins a prize.
For this game, choose 20 – 25 questions to focus on. This will keep the number of questions and answers manageable.
Once guests think they have the correct answer, discuss it as a group. Before marking the Bingo square, make sure everyone agrees.

Christmas Trivia Advent Challenge
Choose 24 fun Christmas Trivia questions and place each into an envelope. Players answer one daily and track their score. The player with the most correct answers by Christmas Eve wins a prize.
Ornament Grab Game
Write a trivia question on paper ornaments. Hang them on a mini tree. Players take turns picking an ornament. If they answer the trivia question correctly, they get to “keep” the ornament. The player with the most ornaments at the end of play, wins.
Cookie Baking Challenge
Similar to the Ornament Grab Game above, but this time the Christmas trivia is written on paper cookie shapes. Players take a “cookie” off the tree and answer the trivia question. The first player to collect a dozen cookies for their cookie tray, wins. Probably real Christmas cookies.
Hot Cocoa Challenge
Have a set of Christmas Trivia cards or list. Read off a question. A correct answer gets a hot cocoa topping (whipped cream, sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, peppermint bits, etc.). Wrong answer equals no topping. The player with the most decadent mug of hot cocoa at the end, wins.
Gift Exchange Trivia
We love gift exchange games around here. Everyone starts with a gift. Read aloud a Christmas Trivia question. A correct answer allows you to pass or steal a gift from someone else. Use the question difficulty to determine the action played. Play continues for a specific number of trivia questions.
Movie Trivia Game
Love Christmas movie trivia? We have transformed our favorite Christmas movie trivia questions into a Free Printable Christmas Movie Trivia Game. You can find it here.
Another option is to take the movie scenes in this game and act them out for teams to guess. A great way for interactive fun this holiday season.
