I have very exciting news today.  After many months of creating and planning, I am opening my new online boutique called Katarina’s Paperie.  Named after my Little Bug, we will provide handcrafted custom party designs and pretty accessories to add the special touches to your celebration.

Getting to this point in my life is really like a boy meets girl kind of story.  Except it’s more like girl meets adorable new baby girl.   Girl wakes up the next day only to realize that with the arrival of her new daughter, she did not become Martha Stewart.  In an attempt to throw together a perfect Christening, Thanksgiving, and Christmas (within weeks of each other, I might add), girl becomes frustrated because printables won’t print, accessories can’t be found and she is tired of wheeling screaming baby through craft stores looking for the perfect thingamabob.  On top of it all, every time she finds the perfect item on a website, the shipping is the same or more than what she is ordering.  Girl decides that she must solve the problem.

And so Katarina’s Paperie was born.  Starting a business, especially one that I love, has been dream since I began babysitting when I was ten years old.  I can’t wait to introduce you to our new little store soon.  Our design collections are printed and cut for you, so you have little to prepare for your big event.  The array of accessories will add to any party and save you hours of hunting from store to store.  The best part?  We will offer free shipping for all orders of $60 or more.

Although Katarina’s Paperie won’t open officially until the beginning of July, I have started the Facebook page to get things moving.  You’ll find entertaining tips, sweet recipes, store updates and much more fun daily.  It will also be a great place to keep up with the happenings on Confetti Diaries.  So, come on over and join the fun by liking our new Facebook page today!

I’ll keep you posted on more developments as they happen.  I’m looking forward to a busy and exciting week ahead.

Happy Celebrating,
