45+ Easter Trivia Questions (and Free Printable Trivia Game)

All activities should be supervised by an adult.  This post contains affiliate links which help support One Simple Party. As always, we only recommend things that we truly love. Full disclosure here.

As the kids have gotten older, trivia has become one of our favorite family games.  It’s such a fun way to test our knowledge, learn about different topics and explore our world.  All around the comfort of the dinner table.

So, I’ve found myself designing a lot of trivia card sets and question games over the past couple of months. We love playing trivia during dinner.  It has lead to some really fun debates and discussions.

It turns out that not all party games have to be saved for a special occasion.

Over the last few months, I have enjoyed sharing trivia questions for the major holidays.  You can find Christmas trivia here (perfect for Christmas parties).  And Valentine’s Day trivia came in handy at the kids’ Valentine’s Day party this year.

So with Easter coming up, I wanted to challenge our knowledge about this special holiday.

Easter is filled with colorful traditions, sweet treats, and meaningful history.  But how much do you and your family actually know about this spring holiday?

From chocolate bunnies to artistically decorated Easter eggs and centuries old customs, Easter is filled with surprising facts that many people have never heard of before.  And that’s one of the reasons playing an Easter trivia game is such a fun way to celebrate Easter with family and friends.

Whether you’re hosting an Easter party, planning a classroom activity or looking for a fun challenge for the dinner table (like my family always is), a round of Easter trivia can instantly get everyone talking, laughing and having fun.

Below, I have gathered my top 45+ Easter trivia questions.  They are categorized by different Easter categories so you can choose your favorites.  Although they aren’t placed in a game format, you can simply print off the list and read them out loud during the game.

How to Play Easter Trivia

Easter trivia is a great game for any Easter gathering.  And there are lots of different ways that you can play.

Classic Trivia

You don’t have to make your trivia game fancy at all.  Instead, stick to the classic version.  One person reads a question aloud and someone answers it.  Each correct answer earns a piece of candy.

Egg Hunt Trivia

Another fun way to play is to hide the trivia questions in Easter eggs.  Inside each egg is a trivia question.  Players find an egg, read the question and answer it.  If the question is answered correctly, they get to keep the egg.  Each egg can be exchanged for a piece of candy.

True or False Corners

Set up two corners of the room – True and False.  Read an Easter trivia statement.  Players move to the side of the room that they think is correct.  Each time you choose correctly, you win a point.

Buzz In Game

This is a great trivia game version for groups.  Read the trivia question.  Players “buzz” in if they have the correct answer.  First correct answer earns a point.  The player with the most points at the end, wins.  Add a festive flair to this game version with these Easter egg shakers. Pass the Egg

This is a trivia game based on the classic Hot Potato game.  Players pass an egg around a circle while the music is playing.  When the music stops, the player holding the egg has to answer a trivia question.  If the question is answered correctly, they get to stay in the game.  If it isn’t answered correctly, they are out.  The last person still in the circle, wins.

Last Bunny Standing

Everyone in the group starts standing.  Ask a player a trivia question.  If he answers correctly, he stays standing.  But if it’s answered wrong, then he sits down.  The last person standing, wins.
