One thing we always say around here is that Dad is “Out of this World”. I mean, think about it. Who else can fix something around the house, help get the kids to bed and get the toy airplane off of the roof?
To celebrate how out of this world Dad is this year, I’m sharing these Free Printable Out of this World Father’s Day Coloring Pages. It’s a great coloring activity to have your littles make before the big day.
Out of this World Coloring Page
The first Father’s Day coloring page puts Dad in outer space. The design features an astronaut exploring the stars beyond. It really is out of this world.
To make this coloring page even more special, invite your child to draw a picture of Dad’s face in the astronaut helmet. I love seeing how our kids portray us as parents in art. The Mother’s Day portraits that they drew of me a few years ago are still some of my favorite art pieces.

To the Moon and Back
One of my favorite phrases that I’ve said to the kids every night at bedtime is “Love You to the Moon and Back”. Just hearing this brings comfort to us all.
These days, I sometimes change it to Pluto. But it still means the same thing.
For this Father’s Day coloring page, I used a lunar rover exploring the moon. The phrase “Love You to the Moon and Back, Dad!” is there for coloring too. It’s a sweet reminder about how loved Dad is.

Turn these Father’s Day Coloring Pages into a Gift
Father’s Day coloring pages can make a sweet handmade gift idea from your littles. First, download and print the coloring pages. Then, have the kids color them with their extra best coloring. I love looking at coloring pages through the years. It shows how much the kids have grown.
Once the pages are colored, make sure your child signs their name. Handwriting is another beautiful way to capture the moment in time. The way kids form their letters changes so quickly. I love looking back over past creations to think about how much my kids have grown.
For gifting, you can frame the Father’s Day Coloring Pages or place them in sheet protectors to put in a 1 inch binder. An art binder can be such a sweet thing to give Dad on his First Father’s Day. Then, fill it up over the years with all of the kids’ Father’s Day creations. You can even add photos from each Father’s Day. He will love having a place to keep all of these beautiful memories.
How to Print your Father’s Day Coloring Pages
For printing your coloring pages, you have two options. First, make sure whatever paper you choose is white. For copy paper, I use basic white paper. Although I love helping the environment, I find that I don’t love all recycled options. So for something that I want to hold onto as a keepsake, I use bright, white copy paper.
Another option is to print out the coloring page on smooth white cardstock. This is a great option if you want to frame the final coloring or add it to a keepsake book. The sturdier paper makes the coloring page more durable in the years to come.
My favorite smooth white cardstock for everyday printing is this one. (affiliate) It works in most printers and the results are crisp.
