Free Printable Father’s Day Coupon Card
I was so excited to sit down to write this post. I have really missed writing this blog over the past few months. The funny part was that I sat down and started the post in the exact same way I wrote last year’s Father’s Day post – “I can’t believe that Father’s Day is sneaking up on us again.” It must be all of the craziness of May between birthdays (now two), Mother’s Day, end of school celebrations as well as kicking off summer with Memorial Day. It’s as if I need a little vacation week slipped in just to start thinking about Father’s Day.
Well, last year’s Father’s Day post resulted in these adorable Free Printable Father’s Day Tie Shaped Gift Tags. I’m hoping that you like this year’s free Father’s Day printable just as much. Not to give too much away, but it’s a free printable Father’s Day coupon card. Have you seen the cost of cards lately? It’s crazy (I know I must sound like my mother.) But, really, you used to be able to get a card for about $2.00. Now the going rate is $3.00. A friend recently told me her husband came home with one for $8.00. I’ll admit it was handmade and gorgeous, but, at that rate the card is becoming a gift in itself!
So I thought I’d create something easy to make and that the kids would love giving to Dad! As my kids are getting older, I’ve been enjoying their insight on ways to celebrate Father’s Day. This year, Little Bug said that she wanted to spend some more quality time with her Daddy. What a great gift idea! So, I created a Father’s Day pocket card and some simple coupons to slip inside. Invite Dad to enjoy an extra bed time story, a free tickle time (Little Bug’s favorite), one day to sleep late (a real treat in our house) or a free lunch date. You can slip in one or all of them – it’s up to you.
You Will Need:
Free Printable Father’s Day Card
Free Printable Father’s Day Coupons
Scissors and/or cutting board
Glue
A7 Envelope – Fits 5″ x 7″ Folded Card
1. Print out our Free Printable Father’s Day Card and Father’s Day Coupons.
2. Cut out the Father’s Day card and pocket. Add small dots of glue along the edge of the pocket (or use Glue Dots for little to no mess!). Attach the pocket to the front of the card.
3. Cut out the Father’s Day coupons. Slip one or more coupons into the pocket. Write a special Father’s Day message to dad and put in an A-7 envelope.
This is such a special way to tell dad how grateful you are for everything he does. Want to add a different coupon? Simply type a new idea on a piece of paper, cut out and slip into the pocket. Or have your kids create their own coupons to slip inside using our coupons as a template.

This is such a neat idea. I know my hubby would like to sleep in late!! It teaches you to appreciate the small things.
My toddler had a lot of fun sharing it this year. Of course, she couldn’t decide which to give, so he ended up with an extra bedtime story and a lunch date. They’re both excited!
