I still can’t believe that Father’s Day is right around the corner. I always feel like these holidays sneak up on me even though they’re on the calendar for months. Maybe the problem is that I always have too many ideas and it’s hard to choose the one or two best ones.

In an attempt to make this Father’s Day extra special, Little Bug and I are planning on making Mr. Mountaineer some sweet gifts for next weekend. Luckily, we have the week to prepare.

To top our gifts, I created these free printable Father’s Day gift tags.  These Father’s Day Tie Shaped Gift Tags are the perfect way to tell dad how much you care.

Punch a hole in the top of each Father’s Day gift tag.  I used this smaller circle hand punch instead of a traditional one (affiliate).  It makes the holes a better size for threading the baker’s twine.

Hang your gift tags on your special Father’s Day gift.  We used kraft gift boxes (affiliate) and coordinating chocolate brown baker’s twine (affiliate) to give our gifts the “dad” feel.  Before hanging your tag, write a sweet message on the back or leave blank.

If you are printing on lighter cardstock, glue the Father’s Day gift tag onto colorful cardstock.  Then, cut out to create a border around the tag.  What a pretty way to remind dad that he’s the greatest!
