Free Thanksgiving Kids Table Printables
Thanksgiving is a time to gather together and celebrate things that we love. Our love of nature was our inspiration behind this year’s Thanksgiving kids table design. Originally inspired by colorful feathers, we combined all of the beauty of fall – acorns, leaves, feathers and gold – into one gorgeous table setting for your children to enjoy their Thanksgiving dinner at.
Being that Thanksgiving in Virginia can be a bit warm, we moved our Thanksgiving kids table outside this year. Although you probably won’t celebrate the holiday in your backyard, if you do live in a warmer climate, gathering together on your porch or backyard patio might be a fun alternative dining space. It let’s the kids get up and play more easily and adds a natural element to your décor.
The best part about this year’s Thanksgiving kids table design is that we created a set of free Thanksgiving printables for you to enjoy too. From place cards to cupcake toppers and favor tags, you’re sure to find a little something (or a lot of something) to make your celebration extra special this holiday season.
Mason jars with handles make an easy way for kids to enjoy their drinks (affiliate). Their wide rimmed openings and metal jar lids with straw openings mean less spills. Plus, they’re made from heavy duty glass, so breakage is less of an issue. I also love the rustic look this glassware gives the Thanksgiving kids table. Much more than just throwing on paper cups.
Dress up your mason jar glassware by tying on a paper leaf (affiliate). It adds to the natural theme of the table. Add a brown and white striped straw (affiliate) to add another Thanksgiving touch.
Everyone loves taking home a favor – especially a treat to enjoy after a long day. We filled a white ice cream cup with fall themed candies (affiliate). You can add a party circle (also known as cupcake toppers) to the front to match the décor.
Prefer stickers? Print your cupcake toppers on full label paper and cut out with a 2 inch paper punch (affiliates). You will have instant Thanksgiving stickers to add to bowls, cups and favor bags.
Since my kids refuse to eat turkey every year, I created a Thanksgiving turkey bite to make this food a little more approachable. Combine a piece of turkey meat, potato wedge and carrot onto a toothpick. You can even add a side of gravy for dipping.
To add more glimmers of gold, I spray painted our acorn collection gold. Acorns make a great holiday vase filler or you can scatter them around your table to add a pretty seasonal touch. If you don’t have the space or time to spray paint your own acorns, you can find gold painted ones here (affiliate).
Let each guest know where they will be sitting with our free printable place cards. Place cards, also known as food tent cards, also serve as great labels for different foods and activities. Check out how to make your place cards here.
These gorgeous feather and acorn cookies were made by Creating Awesomnessity. I am in love with the bright colors of the feathers and natural pattern on the acorns. They captured our love of nature perfectly in this Thanksgiving gathering.
Large slices of pies can be overwhelming for kids – especially when you want to serve a number of different desserts. Trade in the large pies, for mini tarts and bite sized fall macarons. This was Little Bug’s first time eating a macaron and she was in heaven!
I also added our super easy fall acorn cupcakes for those who wanted a more traditional party dessert. Or you can add these cute turkey cupcakes for a more Thanksgiving themed option.
A touch of streusel made these classic cinnamon apple sauce cups extra delicious. Warm before serving for an extra touch of delicious. The kids were all asking for more!
