Alright. Truth telling time. Have you ever run out of candy for trick or treaters on Halloween?
I mean really run out. Like raided last year’s Valentine’s Day (we have seen this), Halloween and Christmas stashes? Come on. Let’s be honest.
It can happen. What am I saying? It has happened. We have run out of candy. Especially when we leave it to the trust system and both parents go out trick or treating with the kids.
Then, the next thought is. Now what do I do? With no candy and the doorbell still ringing on Halloween night. Certainly, you don’t want to upset the trick or treaters. You need a solution and quick.
Time to print this Free Printable Halloween Out of Candy Sign. Better to be prepared before you run out of candy (because then you are much less likely to run out), so be sure to print it early and have it at the ready. Just in case.
About the Design
Since candy corn is my candy selection of choice at Halloween, I included some scattered pieces on this sign design. There is also an empty treat bucket and spooky spider webs. The text reads “Sorry… We are Out of Candy – Happy Halloween!”. It’s always best to apologize for the lack of candy or risk getting toilet papered later that night.
The sign measures 8″ x 10″. The perfect size to tape to the front door or empty treat bowl. Even the scarecrow sitting on your front step can hold it.
How to Print
First, be sure to download your Download.
Then, print on heavy white cardstock (this is our favorite cardstock to print on (affiliate) and use a paper trimmer to cut out (affiliate).
Once printed, your sign is ready for display on Halloween Night. Keep it handy. You never know when you might run out of candy.
