Patriotic Paper Rosettes

In addition to celebrating Father’s Day, we spent last weekend putting the final touches on our Fourth of July decorations around the studio.  Instead of designing a new collection this year, I decided to reuse pieces from one of our most popular posts on our blog to date – our Free Printable Patriotic Fourth of July party.  This was one of the first styled party shoots that we did at the studio and I still hold it near and dear to my heart.  It was so much fun finding ways to repurpose some of the decorations that I designed a few Fourth of July’s ago.

Since I’m all about keeping decorating easy – very easy, this project was perfect.  It used the patriotic party circles from our Free Printable Patriotic Fourth of July party and some mini red, white and blue tissue paper rosettes that I picked up from our local party store.  I hung them everywhere around the studio to dress up the mantel, cabinets and even a space above my desk.  It’s sure making it a bit tricky to get in the mood to design upcoming fall invitations, but I LOVE the patriotic feel they make our space have.

You Will Need:

Free Printable Patriotic Fourth of July Party Circles

2 Inch Squeeze Punch Round (or you could cut them out with scissors)

Scissors

Mini Tissue Paper Rosettes (party stores have them in sets of red, white and blue this time of year)

Glue Dots

2.  Unfold your tissue paper fans and secure using the adhesive provided.  If the fans do not stick, use some glue dots or glue to attach the edges together.

3.  Add two to three glue dots to the center of the back of the party circle.  Attach the party circle to the center of the tissue paper rosette.  Mix and match the different designs with the paper rosettes to make a variety of designs.

These tissue paper rosettes are perfect for hanging up for a Fourth of July party or just decorating your home for the upcoming holiday.  You could attach to a bookcase, hang from a chandelier or mantel or even dangle from an opening in your home.  They are such a fun way to add some easy red, white and blue touches to your next patriotic themed celebration.
