One of my favorite additions to any baby shower are wishes for baby cards.  It’s such a sweet way to send love to a new little bundle of joy and the cards make a wonderful keepsake for the parents-to-be to read in the years to come.

I found the wishes for baby cards that my baby shower guests filled out so uplifting after we welcomed Little Bug.  Especially on days when I found being a mom really hard.  It was lovely to read through everyone’s wishes for my baby girl and know how much everyone cared.

For a little pumpkin or fall baby shower, use wishes for baby cards in the shape of a pumpkin to create a wishes for baby pumpkin patch.  This cute little pumpkin patch makes a wonderful decoration and will add a special touch to your fall baby shower.

What are Some Way to Use your Wishes for Baby Pumpkin Patch?

A wishes for baby pumpkin patch makes a wonderful fall baby shower game idea.  Hand out cards as guests arrive and invite them to fill out as a baby shower activity.

Once guests have filled out their pumpkins, they can add them to the pumpkin patch.  Or they can also take turns reading their wishes aloud to the mom-to-be.

Another idea is to make your pumpkin patch activity into a game with prizes.  Choose a couple of pumpkins at random and share them out.  Those guests could win a prize.  After the fall baby shower, give the mommy-to-be the pumpkin patch wishes to take home as a keepsake.

Or you could transform the wishes for baby pumpkins into hanging ornaments.  Instead of having guests place the pumpkins in a box, set up some branches instead.  Then, attach green baker’s twine (affiliate) to each pumpkin.  Guests can hang them from branches to create a beautiful wish tree display.

And one last keepsake idea…  You can place the filled out pumpkin wish cards into a mini scrapbook for the new mom to enjoy in the years to come.  My favorite wish card has always been the one reminding us that we would sleep again, eventually.  It took a number of years, but I’m happy to say that we are.  All of us.
