But you can also create your own Valentine Trivia Challenge based on your party guests’ interests.  Here are a few ideas.

In this version, players races against a timer.  They have up to ten seconds to answer the question.  If not, the opportunity goes to the other team.

Valentine Scoot Game

Number each Valentine trivia card.  Then, set them up around the party space.  Players go from question to question, writing down what they think is the correct answer.  The players with the most correct answers at the end, win.

Valentine Bingo Combo

This fun game combines trivia and Bingo all in one. Use the answers to the trivia questions to create your own Bingo boards.  Place one answer in each space.  When players answer a question correctly, they mark off that space.  The first player to get five in a row, wins.

Sweetheart Teams

Players pair up as trivia “sweethearts”.  Both must agree on the answer to the trivia question to earn a point.  The team with the most points at the end of play, wins.

Pass the Valentine

Assemble guests in a circle.  Pass the trivia card around the circle while the music plays.  When the music stops, the person holding the trivia card must answer it.  If they don’t know the answer, then they are out.  Play continues until there is just one player left.

Chocolate Box Choice

Set up a box of chocolate.  Use a tabletop surface and place chocolate pieces on it.  Under each piece of chocolate is a trivia card.  During play, players choose a piece of chocolate.  They answer the trivia question under that piece of chocolate.  If answered correctly, they get to eat that piece of chocolate.  Play continues until there aren’t any more chocolates.

Rose or Thorn

Correct trivia answers earn a rose.  This can be a real rose from a bouquet or a paper rose cut out.  Incorrect answers earn a thorn.  Player with the most roses at the end of the game, wins.

Love or Myth?

Instead of reading the Valentine trivia as a question, state them as a fact like our Christmas true/false game.  Players decide if the facts are true or false.  This is a great game to create some added debate to the conversation.

Cupid’s Wild Card

In addition to the trivia cards, add in Cupid’s wild cards.  These cards allow players to steal points, skip a question or double their score.  During play, if a Cupid card is drawn, players complete that action.

Hearts in a Line

Before play begins, each player gets three paper hearts. Each wrong answer, costs a heart. The last player with a heart, wins.

Sweet or Sour

Set up two bowls – one with sweet candy and one with sour.  When guests answer a question correctly, they get a piece of sweet candy.  If answered wrong, they get a piece of sour.  Players with the most sweet candy at the end, wins.

Cupid’s Arrow Toss

Set up this bean bag toss game.  When players answer a certain number of questions correctly, they get a bonus bean bag (or Cupid’s arrow) toss.  This earns them even more bonus points.
